A place-based storytelling initiative focused on researching, translating, and sharing moʻolelo of Oʻahu through digital access, educational resources, and public learning opportunities. This project helps expand access to ancestral knowledge while deepening connection to place.

Kūlana ʻIke Kūpuna
A multi-year initiative supporting the economic resilience of Native Hawaiian cultural practitioners through practitioner-led training, curriculum development, mentorship, and paid opportunities rooted in ʻike kūpuna.

Cultural Piko & Learning Center
Hikaʻalani is actively planning for a future cultural center and operational home base in Koʻolaupoko. This space is envisioned as a hub for learning, ceremony, stewardship, arts practice, and community gathering rooted in Hawaiian values.

Our work extends beyond programming into stewardship of places that hold deep meaning. Hikaʻalani is exploring partnerships and long-term models for mālama ʻāina, restoration, interpretation, and community-based stewardship.
